2×10 rough lumber built directly onto an Ikea Bestå floating unit. Raw meets flat-pack — looks like it was always part of the wall. The seam between the two is the whole point.

Antique fireplace surround integrated into a new full-wall built-in. Flanking bookcases, glass-door upper cabinet, wainscoting, crown molding. The old piece set the tone — everything else was built around it.
